Awestruck Experience 2011 is an outdoor summer experience for Senior High youth loaded with music, food, contests, service projects, discipleship, sports, swimming, entertainment, camping all while experiencing the foretaste of a life forever with our Father, our Savior by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The official Awestruck Worship Experience verse: Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.”  Hebrews 12:28-29

The culture we live in moves more rapidly today than ever before.  The winds of today’s society are striking your body at all angles, sending you into a spiraling effect that has the power to move you without your control.  You are swept up in a storm that seems inescapable as everything around you begins to lose all focus and stability.  However, you remain unshaken.

A God that cannot be shaken lives inside of us and He shows us who He is on the outside.  Amidst the wind, hail, and thunderstorms of life, we are only struck by one thing:  awe.  It is a mixed emotion of reverence, respect, and wonder inspired by authority, genius, great beauty, sublimity, or might.  The light that bursts through the clouds and strikes at our very being is He, who is a consuming fire.

The official Awestruck Experience 2011 theme verse: "I have been crucified with Christ.  It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me." Galatians 2:20

Singer/Songwriter, Matt Kearny's records the following words in his hit song, "Bullet":

"I'd take a bullet for you/ I'd take a bullet for you/ I would cross any line, I'd swim across the sea."

Questions are, why wasn't he on the same island as his "you"?  And what was he doing allowing this person to be that close to a gun in the first place?  

Who would you take a bullet for?  If the situation presented itself, who would you die for?  Extraordinary friends, significant others, loving parents, and close relatives would plaster the personal inventory.  A time may come down the road where a person must stand up for their verbal covenant and that person will see love and consider you honest and heroic.  However, that is an event and an answer only the future can validate.  

The time is now, and it is now that you can verify the question, who are you living for?

Awestruck Worship Experience (AWE) 2011 invites you to LIVE IT UP this summer.  AWE invites you to set aside 3 days, 7 days, or, open to all college students, 2 full weeks, to deepen your view, widen your horizons, and allow God to liven your life, one capable of awakening the dead.
