A training academy at Camp Lakeview with a concentration in servant leadership
For College Students - July 9-11, 2011

altThe unique opportunity for you, the college student, to be enriched with the Gospel, empowered by powerful conversations and experiences with those who are of the same age, and enlightened by the presence of God is available to you this summer! The Awestruck Worship Experience is presenting college-aged young adults with the opportunity to be apart of our growth through a servant leadership-training course we like to call Awestruck University.

Learn how to spiritually lead youth groups through service projects. Become a vital part of the preparation process of the Awestruck Festival. Meet others your age who have a desire to have their hearts and minds transformed during this exciting summer experience.

The fee is $60, which covers the training course, all meals, festival t-shirt, and lodging as the funds will go towards aiding the project, as well as the whole experience in it’s entirety including the festival and your assigned project.

Upon a letter confirming your invitation into our program, you will be doing some or all of the following:

  1. Be able to enjoy the presence of God in His creation at Camp Lakeview, the community of Seymour, Indiana, and around the wonderful staff of Youth Hope in Columbus, Indiana with many college-age students!
  2. Be trained to leader servant event activities such as work projects, community outreach projects, drama skits, campfire devotions, bible studies, field games, and meal preparation. Whatever your gifts are or whatever skill sets you want to develop, develop, increase, and attain them throughout the Awestruck Experience.
  3. Worship by Lutheran Lake, around a campfire, Bible reading during the day, again, with college age students from all over Indiana.
  4. Be apart of the ongoing ministry of Awestruck as you introduce new ideas, help mold our experience to fit the needs of high school students, and impact the lives of those also taking part in Awestruck University.
  5. Be outside. It’s summer, why not?
